　　Ss（pairs）：They’re playing ping pong.

　　6.Teach the verbs about balls:playing basketball, baseball,soccer.

　　Step3 Practice

　　1. Read the new words and the new sentences.

　　2. T does the actions, Ss say the new words.

　　T: Now let’s play a game. I do the actions. You say the words.

　　Ss:Sleeping, eating, painting, studying, playing ping pong,playing basketball, playing soccer.

　　3.Guessing game1.

　　T:You’re so smart. But who’s the smartest. Let’s play a game to see!Look and guess. I will show you nine pictures about the these words on the screeen. You must remember them within 5 seconds. After 5 seconds I will cover them with nine smiling faces. You will guess: sleeping,eating, painting or others. You just have 5 seconds. Ready! Go!

　　S1:Number 5. He’s eating.

　　S2:Number3. They’re playing ping-pong.

　　S3:Number1. Sleeping.

　　S4:Number7. Painting.

　　S5:Number8. Eating.

　　T: It should be singing.

　　S6:Number 2. They’re playing basketball.
