三只小猪学英语第44集：动物幼儿园开运动会

　　The first little pig has a kindergarten. This kindergarten is for animals only. In this kindergarten, there are a lot of animals. There are dogs, foxes,tigers, wolves, elephants, cats, pigs, sheep, chicken, deer, rabbits, lions, ducks, and monkeys. They are all very young. Some of them are six  months old,也就是说，they are half a year old. Some of them are twelve months old, 也就是说，they are one year old, some of them are eighteen months old, 也就是说，they are one and a half years old. They are very happy in this kindergarten.

　　第一只小猪有一幼儿园。这所幼儿园只招收动物们。幼儿园里有许多的动物，有狗，狐狸，老虎，狼，大象，猫，猪，羊，鸡，鹿，兔，狮子和猴子。他们年龄都很小。他们当中有些只有六个月大，也就是说，他们只有半岁。有些只有12个月大，也就是说，一岁。有些是18个月大，也就是说，一岁半。他们在这所幼儿园里都很开心。

　　One day, the first little pig决定开一个animal kindergarten运动会。All the little animals 都积极参加这次运动会。They are all very happy,特别是little cat,little monkey, little duck, and little deer. They are very very happy. Little cat gets first prize for climbing trees, because he can climb up a tree very quickly. Little cat is Mr. Brown Cat's son.  Little monkey gets first prize for jumping, becaue he can jump very high. Little monkey is Dr. Monkey's son.

　　Little duck gets first prize for swimming, because he can swim very fast. Little deer gets first prize for running, because she can run very fast. Only one animal is not happy. He is little tiger. 运动会报名时，他看见little cat报了climb tree这个项目，自己也跟着报了名，he thinks,"I look like a cat. If the little cat can climb trees, I am sure I can climb trees too. " But,到了比赛时，他发现he cannot climb up a tree, but the little cat can climb up a tree very quickly,and he gets first prize. The little tiger is very angry,气得他竟然cry起来。
　　这时，the first little pig comes. He asks, "Why do you cry, little tiger?" The little tiger一边哭一边说，“Because I cannot climb trees. I don't understand why I cannot climb trees. You see, I look like the little cat. He can climb trees. Why can't I climb trees? Can you tell me why.” The first little pig说，“Sorry, I don't know why you can't climb trees. Let's go and ask the second little pig. He is a doctor,也许he can tell you why.”说完，他就带着little tiger一起go to the second little pig's hospital. They go into his office and tell him why the little tiger cries. The second little pig一听就笑了，他说，“My dear tiger, don't cry. Don't be angry. Let me tell you a story. After you listen to this story, you will understand why you can't climb trees. Ok, please listen to me.”

　　一天，第一只小猪决定开一个动物幼儿园运动会。所有的动物都积极参加这次运动会。他们都很开心，特别是小猫，小猴子，小鸭和小鹿。小猫拿了爬树第一名，因为他能很快爬上树。小猫是棕色毛的儿子，小猴子拿了跳高第一名，因为他能跳得很高。小猴子是猴医生的儿子。
　　小鸭子拿了游泳第一名，因为他能游得很快。小鹿拿了跑步第一名，因为她能跑得很快。只有一只小动物不开心，他就是小老虎。运动会报名时，他看见小猫报了爬树这个项目，自己也跟着报了名，他想，我看起来像只猫，如果小猫会爬树，那我肯定也会爬树。但是，到了比赛，他发现他不会爬树。小猫可以爬得很快，并且拿到了第一名。小老虎特别生气，气得他竟然哭了起来。
　　这时，第一只小猪走了过来，他问小老虎为什么哭。小老虎一边哭一边说，因为我不会爬树，我不知道我为什么不会爬树。你知道，我跟小猫看起来很像，他能爬树，我为什么不能呢？第一只小猪说，“对不起，我不知道你为什么不会爬树。让我们去问下第二只小猪吧，他是医生，也许他知道原因。”说完，他就带着小老虎一起去第二只小猪的医院。他们走进他的办公室，跟他讲了小老虎为什么哭。第二只小猪一听就笑了，他说，“我亲爱的小老虎，不要哭，也不要生气，让我来给你讲一个故事。听完这个故事，你就会明白你为什么不会爬树了。好，请听我讲。”

　　于是，the second little pig starts to tell the story. 从前，there are a lot of animals. They are not very strong. They are not very fast. Only one animal is very strong and very fast. He is Mr. Cat. Mr. Cat is very clever and very strong. He can jump very high. He can run very fast. Mr. Cat is the king of all the animals. All the other animals are very slow and very silly. 他们都很羡慕Mr. Cat,都希望自己能像Mr. Cat那样clever and strong. But,他们谁也不敢向Mr. Cat to ask him to teach them学本领，because他们害怕Mr. Cat. 万一Mr. Cat is angry, he will kill them. One day, Mr. Fox has a good idea. 他对Mr. Tiger说，“Mr. Tiger, you look like Mr. Cat. I am sure your grandfather is Mr.Cat's grandfather. 所以说，you are his cousin. If you ask Mr. Cat to be your teacher, if you ask him to teach you how to run fast and how to jump high, I am sure he will be happy to teach you.” Mr. Tiger says, "Ok, 那我就去试一试。"说完，Mr. Tiger就去找Mr.Cat. After one hour, Mr. Tiger找到了Mr. Cat,他对Mr. Cat说，“Hello, Mr. Cat. I look like you. I am sure my grandfather is your grandfather. 这说明we are cousins. Please teach me how to run fast. Please teach me how to jump high. Please be my teacher, Ok? I want to be your student. I will be a good student. ”Mr. Cat说，“Ok, I will be your teacher. You must listen to me. ”Mr. Tiger连声说，“Yes, yes.” 于是，Mr. Cat starts to teach Mr. Tiger how to run fast and how to jump high. Mr. Tiger学得非常认真，only after three days, he can run very fast just like Mr. Cat. And he can jump very high just like Mr. Cat. Mr.Tiger is very happy, 他对Mr. Cat说，“Mr. Cat, you are my good teacher, thank you.” But, 从那以后，Mr. Tiger就开始在树林里横行霸道起来，他经常欺负other animals.就连当初给你出好主意的little fox他都欺负。Mr. Fox对他说，“Mr. Tiger,不要以为you are very big, you are very strong,你就可以称王称霸了，别忘了，your teacher is stronger than you.请你不要太狂妄。 ”Mr. Tiger is very angry, 他说，“哼，my teacher有什么了不起的，I am bigger than my teacher. I am taller than my teacher, and I am stronger than my teacher. My teacher is very little.我凭什么怕他。Listen, one day, I'm going to kill Mr. Cat. Do you know I want to be
　　the king of all the animals?”

　　于是，第二只小猪就开始讲故事了。从前，有许多的动物。他们不强壮，也跑不快。只有一只动物非常的强壮，跑起来也很快，他就是猫先生。猫非常聪明也非常强壮，他能跳得很高，跑得很快。猫是兽中之王。所有的动物都很迟钝，愚笨，他们都很羡慕猫，都希望自己能像猫那样聪明和强壮。但是，他们谁也不敢向猫先生去拜师学本领，因为他们害怕万一猫生气了，他就会把他们杀了。有一天，狐狸想到了一个好办法，他对老虎说，“你看上去就像是只猫，我觉得猫的爷爷肯定也是你的爷爷，你是他的堂弟。如果你向猫拜师，他应该会很乐意来教你的。”老虎说，那好吧，我去试一试。说完，老虎就去找猫了。过了一个小时，他找到了猫，并对他说，“你好，猫。我看起来很像你，我的爷爷肯定就是你的爷爷。这说明我们是堂兄弟。请教我怎么跑得快，怎么跳得高，请做我的老师，好吗？我想成为你的学生，我会成为一名很好的学生的。”猫说，好的，我可以成为你的老师，你必须听我的。老虎连声说，好的好的。于是，猫就开始教老虎怎么跑得快，怎么跳得高。老虎学得很认真，才过了是哪天，他就能像猫一样跑得很快，像猫一样跳得很高。老虎很高兴，他对猫说，“你是一位好老师，谢谢。”但是，从那以后，老虎就开始在树林里横行霸道起来，他经常欺负其它动物，就连当初给你出好主意的小狐狸他都欺负。狐狸对他说，“老虎，你不要以为自己很强壮，你就可以称王称霸了，别忘了，你的老师比你强壮，请你不要太狂妄。”老虎很生气，他说，“哼，我的老师有什么了不起的，我块头比他大，我比他高，我比他强壮。我的老师那么矮小，我凭什么怕他。听着，总有一天我会杀了猫，我会成为百兽之王的。”

　　说完，老虎就回去了，他回去想了想，觉得自己肯定比猫强壮，他想杀死猫，自己当百兽之王。但是，他没想到猫没有把最后一招交给他，猫还没有教给他如何爬树，于是这就解释了为什么老虎不会爬树。
